The February “Fraud Alert” features a new phone app launched by CMS that provides consumers some of the most-used content on Medicare.gov. This was developed in response to the increasing number of Medicare beneficiaries using the Internet, as many as two-thirds in 2016. It’s important to note that paper copies of the “Medicare and You Handbook” and Medicare Summary Notices will still be available.
