If you get a call from someone offering a service or products and say Medicare will cover it, it’s a scam. Scammers may have illegally gotten your Medicare number. Even if they have your Medicare number, don’t confirm it or agree to anything. Hang up and report the call to the Senior Medicare Patrol and to Medicare that your number has been compromised.
