This September, SMP has received numerous calls from Ohio Medicare beneficiaries reporting varied phone calls received from so-called Medicare representatives. BEWARE of the following scam calls:
“Hello, this is Medicare calling. Do you have both Medicare Part A and B? Would you please provide your Medicare number to confirm?”
“Hello, I am calling to discuss your Medicare wellness visit. Would you please provide your Medicare number?”
HANG UP! DO NOT SHARE YOUR MEDICARE NUMBER TO ANYONE YOU DO NOT KNOW AND TRUST!
